Novel Research in Smart Power Systems adheres strictly to the ethical principles of scholarly publishing. The journal complies with the guidelines set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and follows the Executive Regulations of the Law on Prevention and Combating Scientific Misconduct.
- The journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics, in full compliance with COPE guidelines and Iran’s national regulations on preventing scientific misconduct.
- The Editor-in-Chief, Managing Editor, and all editorial staff are obligated to maintain integrity and confidentiality from the moment a manuscript is received through peer review, decision-making, and final publication.
- The journal is responsible for conducting rigorous, impartial, and timely peer reviews, ensuring equitable and consistent treatment of all submitted manuscripts.
- The journal does not require or encourage authors to make unnecessary citations, add or remove co-authors without justification, or manipulate authorship lists.
- Authors are expected to refrain from submitting the same manuscript simultaneously to multiple journals. Manuscripts previously published in any language must not be resubmitted for republication.
- The responsibility for the accuracy and validity of submitted manuscripts lies entirely with all listed authors.
- Submitted articles must fall within the journal’s scope, demonstrate educational value, and represent original research conducted by the author(s).
- Any use of others’ work without proper citation constitutes plagiarism. If such misconduct is detected during evaluation or even after publication, the journal will take appropriate disciplinary action in accordance with established policies.
- Authors must ensure the complete accuracy of theoretical or experimental results and fully adhere to ethical writing standards. All listed authors must have made a meaningful contribution to the manuscript.
- Rejected or withdrawn manuscripts will be removed from the journal’s archives, and the journal assumes no further responsibility for them.
