Abstract:   (23 Views)
This study examines the issue of transmission network expansion planning using the Golf optimization algorithm on a real and large-scale system. In this research, a stochastic planning model is presented for analyzing and optimizing the transmission network expansion in Iran. Due to the large scale and complexities associated with the power grid, the proposed model requires an efficient algorithm for convergence and problem-solving. In this regard, the Golf optimization algorithm has been selected. The Golf optimization algorithm is recognized as one of the most advanced optimization algorithms in solving complex and large-scale problems. This algorithm, due to its high processing power and effective management of optimization problems, can significantly aid in the precise and efficient optimization of complex power grids. The main advantages of this algorithm include high processing power, the capability to manage multi-objective problems, and the ability to provide optimal solutions in a short time. The model studied in this research, focusing on Iran's power grid, is of particular importance due to its specific features and unique needs. The selection of this network as a real study case due to its large scale, diversity, and complexities enhances the value and impact of the results obtained. This research, using the Golf algorithm, not only addresses large-scale optimization problems but also presents significant innovations in the use of stochastic models for optimizing power networks. The results of this study demonstrate the high capabilities of the Golf optimization algorithm in improving the performance of large energy systems and providing optimal solutions in complex transmission network development problems. This innovation in the use of the Golf algorithm along with stochastic modeling can help improve the performance and efficiency of large-scale energy systems and offer effective solutions to the challenges in this field.
