Reducing electrical energy losses has always been one of the goals of power distribution companies while power loss, which is associated with increased effective capacity of power plants, is of greater significance than energy loss. Reconfigurations is the simplest and most affordable way to meet the above objectives. In this study, using runner- root algorithm, a metaheuristic method, a Reconfiguration is carried out to reduce losses and improve voltage profile on 33-bus EEE distribution systems. This optimization method is inspired by plant root and stem that grow underground to find water and minerals. In fact, the plant root have two parts; a thick stem called runner and slender fibers called root, the latter is responsible for local search and the former is responsible for global search. Also, in this study, due to varying loads during a full day, an uncertainty indicator is employed using fuzzy numbers to achieve better modeling results. It should be noted that all simulations performed in this study are carried out using MATLAB software 2011. In addition, comparing the results of this study with that of previous researches, with respect to the solving method and the considered target functions, reveals the effectiveness of the current study. |
